We are Dearly Website

Dearly is a boutique with preselected vintage clothing. The owner Elwira is a well known stylist for stars, videos, films, etc. She works on set all the time and she gathers a lot of stunning pics for her work, this is how it started from love to preowned clothes but also from the fact that she owns a lot of clothing and she deals with tons of beautiful pieces on a daily basis. She wanted to share her passion with wider audience. This is how Dearly came to life.

Elwira is also passionate about sustainability and circularity. Dearly fits right in the niche of selected, vintage pieces for special occasions.  From weddings, red carpets and other special events you can swing by and try clothing from different eras. She prides herself on the fact that her boutique is full of unique pieces for all shapes and sizes silhouettes. With this project I was responsible for UI. We had already UX wireframe as Elwiras husband is a UX Designer.

I know it won’t be easy to please Elwira, she is highly creative and she knows what she wants. I decided to visit her in the space. She mentioned several times she is super proud of it as she designed almost all furnitures in it. She let the interior design of the space and it was highly covered in media. In order to translate her vision in to the web project i needed to see the space so i can increase the chance to get it right. When we met in the boutique i was really impressed with amount of work that went in to it. A lot of custom hangers, curated pottery and fresh flowers. I was a bit scared but excited.

I decided to use fonts that would be close relatively  to classic polish typography but with modern edge. I decided to create and use big arrows that are inspired by Dearly logo curves and hel user navigate through the website. All images has curved corners. All hangers in the studio Elwira designed her self and it was a big influence for this website. To make it more interesting instead of google maps i draw a map that help ppl find a place and diagram that help clients get to the space (it is located in an old building ans clients needs to go through few doors before they get to Dearly) that is send to clients via email with a confirmation.
